With my initial training as an engineer, I have always developed my musical knowledge and practice in parallel for over 20 years as a jazz pianist, trained in several Parisian jazz schools (EDIM, BEPA and ARPEJ) and by several private tutors, including Dexter Goldberg, a recognized player on the Paris jazz scene.
Attracted by music writing as an extension of my experience on Jazz improvisation, I decided to become a professional musician and obtained a diploma in film music composition in 2021 in Béatrice Thiriet's class, followed by a certificate in orchestration in 2023 in Anthony Girard's class, both classes within Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris ("Alfred Cortot"), a world-renowned classical music school. From 2020 to 2023, I also took jazz arranging classes with Denis Bioteau, a former teacher at the CIM jazz school in Paris.
Musically, with a broad language that ranges from classical to jazz, I strive to express the emotions of the image as finely as possible, varying the arrangement to awaken the ear's interest but taking care to remain accessible, keeping a melodic or harmonic thread. My influences : from Ravel and Stravinsky to Pink Floyd's progressive rock, Oscar Peterson's jazz and Weather Report's fusion.
